The day can only get better, right?

I wrote at the end of the last post  that yesterday had to be a better day, right?  In fact, everything went so smoothly  that I am almost worried.  Okay, not really, after the fiasco a couple of days ago,  I feel like we have battled back to even.   I am happy to report that we had no problems with the truck or our bumper pull at all!

We left the Alamo RV park yesterday morning so we could take advantage of the cool air.  It worked well, we didn’t have to turn on the air conditioner the entire trip.  It also helped that is was almost all downhill.  It was a welcomed site to see Indian Springs again.

We did get an unexpected surprise when we got our PO Box today.  It turns out that if the post office doesn’t have a mail carrier then the residents get a PO Box for free.  (I did say that we moved  to a small town.)

We needed to make a quick trip into Las Vegas last night to replenish our supplies.  For a lot of people, a trip to Vegas is what they save their vacation days for.  For us, it will be a place to go  to stock up so that we can enjoy our little town away from the big city life.  Happy Trails to all!  For now, our trail has ended.  (At least for a few days anyhow).

Note: We ordered our internet today, but they told us that they won’t be out to connect until the 17th.  We may end up taking a few days off of the blog until that date.  Check tomorrow just in case I am able to find easy access here to free Wifi again.  (I may have just got lucky today.) It has been a struggle to find it, that is why we didn't post anything yesterday.
